VIMsical Playplace Hint: Lesson 1
This lesson has you making a picture based on numerical clues. These clues are lined up on the horizontal and vertical axis.
Each row of the 'picture' is based on the numbers in that row. If the numbers have a "/" between them, that means parts of the picture are broken up.
Each column of the 'picture' is based on the numbers for that column. If the numbers have a "/" between them, that means parts of the picture are broken up.
So for example, in a grid like this:
1/1/1/1 |
________
10101010
There are four 'parts' of the picture in the first row, but they're broken up – so they must have space between them.
The bottom shows that column 1 has 1 part, column 2 is empty, column 3 has one part, column 4 is empty– etc.
This means the answer to this puzzle is as follows:
1/1/1/1 |X X X X
________
10101010
To make a simple Mouse head, we could have the following grid:
2/2 |
3 |
3 |
_____
13231
Which, when complete, leads to the following solution:
2/2 |XX XX
3 | XXX
3 | XXX
_____
13231
