I'm hand-writing this post on a Supernote X2, in their native note-taking app. I have to admit I'm impressed - the writing feel is very similar to a particularly smooth ball-point pen.
Before the tariffs hit, I decided to get a few of the gadgets I'd been saving for - it seemed prudent to replenish savings rather than pay double. I am glad I took the initiative - I've watched prices rise since.
What I chose to get are generally items like the Supernote - rechargeable, reusable, interface-able devices that lower my use of consumables - in this case, paper and ink. Paper and ink aren't particularly expensive, but I practice calligraphy, so I tend to go through a lot of it. This little gizmo should cut down on that.
Not everyone can afford this type of pre-planning, but hopefully those of us who do think ahead can lower demand for those who can't. A balancing act we all participate in, willing or not.
Well. This seems a decent test of my new toy, so I shall sign off.
